Must go to bed, must go back to work tomorrow, must reconcile where the last argument ended, and how to resolve the constant conflicts. Why did I marry a Taurus? Scorpio/Taurus is a notoriously explosive combination, so I'm told. We'll see. I have no other place to go, and as my best friend keeps telling me, there must be a reason I'm still here with him. I'll tell that story another time, when I have less sleep to catch, before tomorrow's commute.
I can't find the darn picture of the Goldheart in full glorious bloom. So, here's a picture of my "lightning" flag irises, venerable weeds that they are. I love them. These plants were blasted from their hold on our back spillway during a huge downpour, lightning fried the tree beside them. I found the tubers about 200 feet downstream. I'd been MEANING to dig them out, mother nature helped a bit, there:)
They've been blooming their buns off, ever since I found places they like. I bring armloads of the flowers to the senior's residence down the road, every spring except last year, as it was too wet, even for the iris. This picture was taken the first year they really showed their stuff. Oh, the scent!!
I have a "thunder" tiger lily too, from the same storm, but I was a newbie with them, and fertilized. NEVER fertilize tiger lilies!! They get all insulted, and sulk, for years. Took me a week to find their rootball, after the storm, it was about 2 feet wide and deep.
I MUST go to SLEEP!!
Night, all. Have a great week!
